The Chairman of the Kenya Primary Schools Headteachers Association (KEPSHA), Johnson Nzioka, has passed away following a fatal road accident on Sunday, February 16, along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway near Athi River.

He sustained fatal injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene. His body was later transferred to the morgue pending an autopsy.

At the time of his death, Nzioka was serving as the headteacher at Donholm Primary School in Nairobi, a position he had held for several years.

In addition to his role at KEPSHA, Nzioka also served as a Council Member at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).

Nzioka's leadership at KEPSHA saw him represent over 24,000 primary school headteachers nationwide.

He had a distinguished career, previously serving as National Vice-Chairperson of the Kenya Primary Schools Sports Association (KPSSA) and as Organizing Secretary of the Federation of East African Primary Schools Headteachers.
