The Kenya Meteorological Department has forecasted rainfall across several regions of the country, including the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, and North-western Kenya.
In a weather forecast report issued on Monday, October 14, the department indicated that isolated storms may also occur in these areas during the forecast period.
"Rainfall is expected over the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, and North-western Kenya," the weatherman stated.
Daytime temperatures are projected to rise, with high temperatures exceeding 30°C anticipated in parts of the Coast, South-eastern lowlands, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya.
"High temperatures of more than 30°C will be experienced in parts of the Coast, South-eastern lowlands, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya," the report noted.
At the same time, residents in some areas can expect chilly nights, with temperatures falling below 10°C in parts of the Central Highlands and the Central Rift Valley.
"Chilly nights with temperatures below 10°C are likely in some parts of the Central Highlands and the Central Rift Valley," the Kenya Met warned.
In the last weather forecast, Kenya Met disclosed that rainfall was recorded in the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley, with isolated storms.
High daytime temperatures exceeding 30°C were also recorded in the Coast, Northeastern, and Northwestern regions.
